The 3rd day we went to Hunan Wei Shi TV station to meet some possible partner who is a TV Show manager. Very instructive how things all link together. I also learnt that we have a kind of website for models, with a few other competitors. One of them is quite serious, but Wangjiao told me with a smile that he knows a way to beat them… oh…
It was a hard day, as I lacked a lot of sleep from the last ones, my trip, and the race for packing+festivities in Hangzhou. Plus, most of the boys smoke like mad in the office, my eyes got all sore. I had Wangjiao promise NO SMOKING ALLOWED in the definitive office. Good point! We can always go and have a smoke in his private room… hehe…
Anyway, after being quite upset for a few things, things went better later on. I spent my time selecting photos, and preparing an article about Africa with the editor, Yang Yan.
Wangjiao has a huge screen he can swap round to view photos even in vertical position.
The place we are now will become a bar soon. We have partened up with some Peugeot people for that. We give them the cash, they carrry our name, we get a benefit, AND better than everything else, free beer! Yeah!
Selecting photos is a hard biz, especially when you have around a thousand to browse through, but still, he have good laughs on the way.
Wangjiao got a nice gadget camera called Digital Harinezumi 2. It’s worth 1500 yuans, looks like sh*t, but takes great surprising photos, full of weird colors and vignetting. It can also takes videos! We made a fun horror one at home, I’ll try to post it later!
Funny results…
In the eve, we went for some food, Wangjiao, Wang Kai (his biz partner, a cool young fellow) and I. I took some interesting shots at that occasion.
Nice dark stairs, hmm…
On the way home…
Back home, I started testing my strobe and remote system for the next day, as I was going to shoot « natural » photos of Gong Pin. Oops, too bright!
Loong 2 days, and today the 6th, well, the 7th, 2 o’clock in the morning, writing my diary of the last days. Quick, next article, and then I leave things rest until time catches up…
